Renegades "Must Win Game #1,394,394,334"
Well - they are at it again and how many more times am I going to be forced to say it, the Renegades must win tonight if they are to have any hope at the playoffs. Part of me hopes they lose just to get the sick, sad, pathetic, thing they call a season over with. I mean really, all that will happen if they, by some act of God, manage to make the playoffs, is they will be pounded out by some better team and we will all still say "Oh well next year".
Tonight the Renegades "MUST WIN" against the Hamilton Tiger-cats. For Hamilton this game is almost meaningless. The only difference between Ottawa and Hamilton is, Hamilton didn't win 5 of it's first 8 games. Now if you want to get silly and stupid for a bit, Ottawa has 4 games left, including tonight, and if they win all 4 (I can almost hear you laughing) they would be 9-9. Now if the Renegades finish 9-9 (stop snickering) that would mean that Calgary would have to win no more than 2 of its last 4 games. When you look at it on paper you almost get hopeful don't you? Don't get too excited, Ottawa's remaining games are: Hamilton, at Hamilton, at Montreal, and Toronto. Kind of makes it clear that Ottawa isn't going to go 4-0 in it's last 4 games doesn't it. Ok, maybe they can win both the Hamilton game and steal one of the Montreal or Toronto games. That would have the Renegades finishing the season 3-1 in it's last 4 and 8-10 on the season. Calgary would have to win no more than 1 of it's last 4 games. Calgary remaining 4 games are: Hamilton, at Saskatchewan, at Winnipeg and Edmonton. My guess is Calgary is probably going to win 2 of it's last 4 games.
Go Gades Go! I guess - oh what am saying - Go Ticats Go!

Hello, I shall remain anonymous but would like to respond to the Renegades thrilling season.
Oh, wait.....there wasn't one. I don't think I have ever seen a professional sports team have so many "MUST WIN" games, with on average half the season to go, year in and year out, as the Ottawa Renegades do (Well, maybe in their previous life as the Rough Riders).
As a devoted fan I shall trapse through the pouring rain and driving wind not to be disapointed, but to thouroughly take in the provided entertainment.
Go Gades Go!!
:( Who am I kidding
