NHL - Oilers 5, Vancouver 4 (OTSO)

The Oilers found their way back to the win column last night, it once again took overtime and a shoot out but they won. So far in 4 games the Oilers have still not won in regulation.
Edmonton didn't look too good in the first as Ty Conklin looked shaky stopping only 9 of the 12 shots he faced. Ales Hemski's fist of the preseason was Edmonton's only goal in the first period as Vancouver out shot Edmonton 12-10.
There was no scoring in the Second period as the Oilers out shot the Canucks 9-5.
Ethan Moreau scored early in the second period to pull the Oilers to with in one goal of the Canucks, but with Vancouver scoring mid-way through the 3rd period it took Ales Hemski's second of the game and Mike Peca's first of the preseason with less than 5:00 to go in the period to pull Edmonton even 4-4. The Oilers outshot Vancouver 11-9 in the third period.
Edmonton outshot Vancouver 4-2 in the scoreless overtime and it took Edmonton's 6th shooter of the night, Radek Dvorak, to win the game. Overall Ty Conklin stopped 24 of the 28 shots he faced as the Oilers out shot Vancouver 34-28. The Oilers were 1 for 10 on the power play and Vancouver was 3 for 10.
